Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using FlipCheck. These Terms govern your access to and use of the FlipCheck application and services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using FlipCheck ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. These Terms apply to all users of FlipCheck, including visitors, registered users, and subscribers.
2. Description of Service
FlipCheck is a real estate investment analysis tool that helps users evaluate house-flipping opportunities by calculating estimated profit, ROI, and deal viability based on user-provided inputs. FlipCheck is an estimation tool only. All calculations are based on user-supplied data and simplified financial models. Nothing in the App constitutes financial, legal, real estate, or investment advice.
3. Disclaimer of Warranties
FLIPCHECK IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We expressly disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to: • Accuracy of calculations or financial projections • Fitness for any particular investment purpose • Uninterrupted or error-free service availability • Accuracy of third-party data (comps, property values, market data) Real estate investing involves substantial risk. Always consult licensed real estate professionals, attorneys, and financial advisors before making investment decisions. Past deal performance does not guarantee future results.
4. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, FLIPCHECK AND ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO: • Financial losses from investment decisions made using the App • Lost profits or business opportunities • Data loss or corruption • Any damages arising from reliance on App calculations OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM USE OF THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
5. Subscriptions and Payments
The website includes one free trial per account: 3 days or 10 analyses, whichever comes first. The trial includes up to 15 property-data lookups in total. No payment card is required and the trial does not automatically charge you. After the trial, existing saved deals remain viewable. If you choose FlipCheck Pro, you are charged $9.99 when you subscribe, then monthly until cancelled. Pro includes unlimited deal analyses and PDF exports. Pro also includes 150 property-data lookups (property details or comparable sales) per calendar month, resetting on the 1st (UTC), plus a daily safety limit to prevent excessive usage. Repeat lookups of a recently searched address may be served from saved results and do not count. Unused lookups do not roll over. Manually entered analyses are not limited. Contact support if you need a higher limit. You can cancel renewal in Settings. Access continues until the end of your paid billing period. You can manage payment details and invoices through Stripe where available, or contact support@myflipcheck.com. Partial months are not refunded. Account deletion immediately cancels associated FlipCheck subscriptions. Price changes will be communicated with 30 days notice.
6. Account and Data
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Delete Account, which will permanently remove your data. You retain ownership of all deal data you enter into the App. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store and process that data solely to provide the service.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: • Use the App for any unlawful purpose • Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute the App • Use automated scripts to access or scrape the App • Misrepresent your identity or affiliation • Interfere with the App's servers or infrastructure We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
8. Third-Party Services
The App integrates with third-party services including Stripe (payments) and Rentcast (property data). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party service availability, accuracy, or conduct.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in court for intellectual property violations.
