This Privacy Policy describes how FlipCheck ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the FlipCheck mobile and web application.
1. Information We Collect
FlipCheck collects only the minimum information necessary to provide the service: • Account information: Email address and name, collected when you create an account. • Deal data: Property addresses, financial inputs, and saved deals you choose to store. • Usage data: Account-linked trial, analysis, checkout, subscription and property-request events, plus campaign source when provided, to operate the service and measure usage. • Payment information: Web subscription payments are processed exclusively by Stripe. FlipCheck never stores your credit card details. • Device information: Operating system, device type, and app version for troubleshooting purposes.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information solely to: • Provide and improve the FlipCheck service • Sync your saved deals across devices when you are signed in • Process subscription payments via Stripe • Send transactional emails (e.g., subscription receipts) — never marketing without consent • Troubleshoot issues and maintain service reliability
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Data is shared only with: • Stripe — for web payment processing (subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy at stripe.com/privacy) • Base44 — our infrastructure provider for authentication, hosting, and database services • RentCast — receives property addresses when you request property details or comparable sales • No advertising networks, data brokers, or third-party analytics platforms receive your data
4. Data Retention and Deletion
You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Delete Account. Upon deletion: • All saved deals and personal data are permanently removed from our servers within 30 days • Stripe subscription is cancelled • Anonymized, non-identifiable usage statistics may be retained for product improvement To request manual deletion, email: privacy@myflipcheck.com
5. Cookies and Local Storage
FlipCheck uses browser local storage to: • Keep you signed in and remember app preferences; trial and paid access are verified on our servers • Cache recent property searches for faster access • Store your app preferences Our authentication and payment providers may use cookies needed for their services. Advertising pixels are not enabled by FlipCheck. You may clear local storage at any time via your browser settings.
6. Security
We take data security seriously: • All data in transit is encrypted using TLS 1.2 or higher • Authentication, including email/password and Google sign-in, is handled by Base44 • Payment data is handled exclusively by Stripe (PCI DSS compliant) • Access to production databases is restricted to authorized personnel only
7. Children's Privacy
FlipCheck is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at privacy@myflipcheck.com and we will delete it promptly.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to: • Access the personal data we hold about you • Correct inaccurate data • Request deletion of your data • Object to or restrict certain processing • Data portability (receive your data in a machine-readable format) To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@myflipcheck.com.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date below and notify users via email if the changes are material. Continued use of FlipCheck after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
